Membership Information
Farmers’ markets and other interested parties are welcome to become members of the Wyoming Farmers Marketing Association. Payment of dues indicates that your market agrees to operate in compliance with the definitions set forth below.
Members must pay membership fees annually. Members are entitled to WFMA benefits including: reduced fees for conferences and workshops, mentorship opportunities, technical assistance, training, and networking.
Definitions:
- A Farmer or Grower Market(s) is defined as “Public marketplace where fresh foods from a defined local area are sold by the people who have grown, gathered, raised or caught them.”
- Vendors are defined as “Individual or business that promotes or sells agricultural products.”
Interested parties are defined as “Individuals or organizations whose work is consistent
- with the mission of the Wyoming Farmers Marketing Association.”
Becoming a member gives Wyoming Farmers Markets a unified voice and gives consumers quality assurance!
Membership in the Association stands as an assurance of market integrity. We want consumers to be sure that when they go to a member farmers’ or growers’ market, they are purchasing foods from the farms and ranches that produced them.
Membership Fees:
- Vendors, interested parties and others - $15
- Farmers' markets with less than 25 growers, food processors and farm crafts - $25
- Farmers' markets with less than 26-50 growers, food processors and farm crafts - $50
- Farmers' markets with 51 or more growers, food processors and farm crafts $100
